I am so grateful for the opportunities that have come my way and the friends, family and supporters that have chosen to embark on the journey with me. Over the last few months we have begun a fight for California. Our dear friend Senator Bill Emmerson chose to step away from his Senate position and left us with a huge hole not only in our hearts but in our state. I stepped forward because I believe average Americans can make a huge difference in our country if we put aside our personal fear and put our Country first.
I was able to congratulate Assemblyman Mike Morrell on being elected the next Senator of our great state.
I know the struggles of the regular folks in our communities and I have seen the struggles of the cities across our district and throughout our region. Each citizen and each city has an important role in helping in the recovery of our nation. Many citizens are out of work and struggling to survive and our communities are showing the wear and tear.
Mike and I have our differences but we both love this state and our nation. If we work together neighbor helping neighbor and community helping community we will start to see changes in our state. Changes that will make a huge difference in the living conditions and economy for our cities and districts. We will pick up each district one by one till the great state of California stands up on its feet and picks up this great nation.
I am naturally disappointed but will fight harder for the citizens of San Jacinto. We will make tough decisions but we will work together to pull our city up. I encourage anyone who wants to work with us or who needs our help to contact me through the city.
I will always be there for you and am so grateful to all of you. I am honored by all you have done for me.
I would like to thank my husband Chuck and our energetic children. I could not do any of this without you. You are my inspiration and my reason for fighting so hard.
I would like to thank Sewa Contreras and her family. You are amazing and your tireless dedication is truly appreciated.
I would also like to thank Bruce and Lyndell, Scott and Linda, Gayle and Tom, Agnes and Ralph, Lori, Bonnie, Gary, Ron and so many others. Your dedication and faith has inspired me and it is a privilege to call you my friends.
Finally I would like to thank God for the opportunity to serve you.
I believe in this great nation and I believe our best days are yet to come. I will continue to fight for average Americans. I will continue to fight for those who can’t fight for themselves. I am an American and I will fight for you!
May God Bless America and May God Bless You!
No more politics as usual!
I don't know about you but I'm tired of politics as usual. We've recently seen the effects from it, when politicians don't listen to their constituents. Citizen's like you and me are frustrated that we have no say. We are tired of hearing people talk about how they understand us. How can they say that when they have never had to struggle the way you and I have had to struggle?
